BETTY ROSEN is a PhD student in Arabic literature at UC-Berkeley, as well as a freelance literary essayist and translator of Arabic fiction into English. Her literary essays have appeared in Vol. 1 Brooklyn, phoebe, The New Engagement, The Point, and Intern Magazine.

RENAY COSTA is an attorney who lives in the Boston area and prefers writing fiction to legal briefs. She is an alumna of the Yale Writer’s Workshop, and has previously been published in Havik, the literary journal for Las Positas College, and on The Write Launch, an online literary journal.
